The brief for this project specified that the design was to represent the first Commonwealth Games to:

• be hosted outside a major city

• have gender equity medals

• ”para” sport integration

• University partnership

• beach volleyball

The key requirements were for the design to be colourful, represent the Gold Coast and represent the sports of the Games. My design reflects diversity in a unified art cover that engages the reader and creates a sense of excitement surrounding the Games.
